WOOD LAMINATION PROJECT

The object of this assignment was to create a structure using wood lamination and string. The process was very intuitive as it didn't have any particular direction when it started. The first step was creating a lamination that was in a shape that was interesting. From there the main structure was made, playing with different patterns and orientations of the parts with the string in mind for filling and completing the structure. The final result is something that is both very rigid but also has a very naturally flow to it, resembling waves or DNA.
